Poor Advetising Online
I was researching flight costs at 8:30am this morning, at which I was redirected to the BA website to continue booking the flights -where I went through the process of booking 3 tickets to Durban. The total cost quoted (I have photographic proof) was R2659.92 for 3 persons. I then took a picture and sent this to my partner in order to confirm going through with the booking. When I re-logged on to the system to book and pay for the tickets 3 hours later - I was suddenly given a price of over R6400 for the same 3 tickets on the same flight.

I contacted BA and was told sorry the special is over. I feel we have been done in and deceived as no where through the whole booking process did it state that this was a \special"being run and it would expire within the hour. The mere fact that tickets can be tripled within such a short time clearly depicts how us as the consumer are being totally **********. """
Thank you for sharing your concerns with us.
We would like to apologise for the frustration caused when booking your flights with us recently.
Fares on the websites are forever changing; the fares start low and end on the highest fare. There is the odd occasion when you find a lower fare still available days later.
The most common reasons being due to a customer having changed his/her flight for earlier/later or just another day. The cheaper seat/s will then be released back into the system to be sold.
Please be advised that ba.com is a live system. It is accessible to the public at all times and fares are subject to availability at the time of booking. Our sale was only valid for the 1st of April.
We thank you for allowing us the opportunity of an explanation and apologise again for any inconvenience caused to you.
Kind regards,
