Numerous delays combined with blasAA(C) attitude

My BA6407 flight, which was bound to leave at 19:00 on Friday 20/11/2015, was horrifically delayed due to technical difficulties (only communicated much later). Finally, we managed to board the plane at 21:30. After waiting for the weather to subside, the plane attempted to take off. But just as soon as the take-off commenced, the brakes got hit hard and the plane eventually taxi-ed back to the parking bay. The pilot then communicated to the group that the initial technical problem was not resolved. Finally, the decision was made to transfer to another plane, which departed only at 00:30. <br> <br> More decisive measures could have led to us using the other plane earlier in the game. <br> <br> Worse were the crew's attitude towards to delay. We were told that \we are all in the same boat and that we all missed our dinner plans in Cape Town"and that \""we are all imperfect people"
