Flight change with no notification.

I booked a flight with BA (Comair) for Thursday the 10th of March at 18:30 (BA6306).

I attempted to check in on Wednesday evening (the 9th of March). The check in failed via the app without giving a reason. Only saying that it could not check in. I assumed this was a simple issue with check in and would check in at the airport.

In an act of random chance I decided to again attempt to check in, this time on Thursday the 10th of match, via the website. At this point the system shows me that my flight is cancelled and I've been rebooked on BA6304, more than two hours earlier.

I did NOT recieved any emails or SMS's regarding change and had it not been for me proactively checking online I would not have known my flight was rebooked. Intact both flights appear on my BA app now. See attached screenshot.

I arrived at the airport and informed the staff and manager of what has happened. They offered apologies but that was all they were willing to do. Other than direct me to email this address.

I chose flight BA6306 as it allowed me to attend important meetings that I traveled to Durban for. I had to leave these early as a result of the rebooking. And since I recieved no communications regarding this, I had to leave at very short notice.

I choose to fly with BA because I'm a gold member with Qatar airlines and BA is a one world partner. I enjoy the shared experience between the airlines. However, this time. I found BA to be lacking in every way. Now informing me of the change is unacceptable and has resulted in a tangible impact to my work. I find this simply unacceptable of a one world partner, locally or abroad.

I want BA to remedy this situation with haste. The ticket cost was billed at a premium and I was not treated accordingly. Please advise how British airways (Comair) will resolve this issue.
