Customer Centricity is up in the air.
I made an administrative error when booking a flight and my daughters surname was noted incorrectly. I attempted to call the call centre but they closed on weekends. I drove to the airport and was advised customer care for British Airways opens at 12:00, I was there at 08:00. They eventually open and advise me that cannot edit her surname and she cannot fly with the incorrect surname. Solution? A whole new ticket, my old ticket? Non-refundable. The new ticket - business class because the flight is fully booked. My daughter is not allowed to sit in her old seat which is next to mine because that’s goes against your policies. Imagine my surprise when her non-refundable seat is occupied by someone else for the entire flight. I took pics. Your service and policies are not customer centric. We couldn’t even use the lounge because it was at maximum capacity. I just want my economy seat refunded. You got paid twice for the same seat.
