Constantly overbooking flights

Two weeks ago I was on a flight from CT to ORT and when I checked in i was advised that the flight was overbooked and not even an apology was offered and I eventually was placed on a flight 3 hours later. Today I arrived 2 hours early fro my CT to JHB flight with British Airways and again I have been told the flight is overbooked and they can’t let me know when I will be on a flight. This looks like greed on behalf of the airline. Well I will now change airlines as I am not prepared put up with is poor service due to BAs greed
