Comair/BA flights are a lottery

I booked a morning flight to Cape Town about 10 days in advance. A few days later my flight was cancelled due to "operational challenges", so I moved to an earlier flight. Two days before my flight, it was cancelled again. Now I'm only going to get into Cape Town around noon - half a day wasted and meetings had to be rescheduled. I can't cancel and move to another airline because two days before flying the prices have doubled. I shan't be booking on Comair again.
