Cheating customers during peak times to make more money

‪@British_Airways I cannot believe the terrible service my sister has had to endure at OR Tambo airport this morning. She was on a 5:55am flight to Durban. She checked in yesterday and said she has one bag. Today she was in line at 5:10 and at 5:15 upon reaching the counter‬, ‪They told her the flight is closed for bags. They sent her to ticket sales and ticket sales sent her back and forth between the 2, each laying blame on the other. I spoke to the check in agent and the ticket sales personnel. They were rude and arrogant. She now has to change The flight to the next available one and pay a penalty. By the time that was Possible, they told her she can’t take it because bags for that flight is also closed. So they have now put her on an 8am flight and charged her R1500 odd to change the flight. She is alone in JHB‬ ‪With no assist from your staff. I always use you to go to UK and locally and I will never advise anyone to use you again. The check in lady told me that my sister should have been there 2 hrs early. For a domestic flight? And that bags take an hr to get to the flight.‬ ‪1 hr from the airport to the plane?? So in that case how can bag drop close at 5:10 if the flight is at 5:55? My sister is a student and you guys are just exploiting the fact that it is the long weekend. And due to the staffs lack of service, my sister had to run around and pay Extra. Please do something about this. We are not paying a total of R4000 for a return flight to Durban. I would have changed her flight to Durban with another carrier but your staff said, her return flight would be cancelled. And that is also ridiculous because it’s booked with‬ ‪Kulula. I expect a response and some training to be had with your staff. The ticket sales agent is Excellentia Mokoena and the counter agent is Refiloe Sekhoenyone. My sister asked them for their full names and hey didn’t want to initially give it. Afterwards when they gave it , one of your staff shouted out that my sister wants to put the blame onsomeone. What kind of behavior is this. Shouting in an airport? And I will continue to post this message everywhere so everyone knows what to expect flying with you in future. ‬
