British Airways ***** Money from passenger

On the 3rd/12th 2014, I paid for x2 tickets to Port Elizabeth from Joburg to depart on the 6th/12th 2014. Reference no.7CH6UW. Very soon after the transaction, I phoned B.A. to amend one of the tickets to depart on the 14th Dec due to a forced change. The helpful, friendly B.A. assistant notified me that an additional R716 would have to be deducted for the amendment, which I accepted. On the 6th Dec (departure date for one of the travelling parties), it became evident that the other ticket had not been amended as B.A. asked where the other traveler was upon checking in the sole travelers bags. I mentioned the amendment and realised that the R716 had not been deducted from my account, possibly resulting a NO SHOW PASSENGER. Subsequently on the 8th of Dec, B.A. deducted the agreed to R716 from my account! This debit allayed my fears of no change having occurred reassuring me that the new booking was confirmed. Upon arrival at the airport on the 14th Dec to see off the second traveler we were refused boarding. I had to buy a new ticket for R1745.79 EXCLUDING TAX. No amount of complaint solved. B.A. has ****** money, **** & inconvenienced me. I demand a refund of R1745.79 +TAX. Tumi
