British airways not recommended in terms of safe baggage

Everything was good, except the fact the my bag under my seat went missing and I was the last person to leave the airplane when I realized I had left it I quickly returned only to find that my bag was not there. I left my details at the baggage enquiry of British airways, I've heard no response and when I called no one answered the phone. Definitely unexpected but it happened and I'm not happy about how they don't care about their customers.
