British Airways Losing Luggage

<p>My Fiancé took a flight from Cape Town to Johannesburg on the 19th November 2016, and upon arriving low and behold 63 bags were apparently left behind due to 'weight issues'. Baggage collections at OR Thambo then issues a property irregularity report and claims that the luggage will be sent to Lanseria and would be dropped off at our house the following day. Surprise surprise no turn up. Constant phone calls to a number that was provided all with conflicting information about bags already being delivered and drivers already collecting the bags. The bag was never dropped off and the driver had already delivered all the bags. Lanseria airport sent all 'unregistered' luggage back to OR Thambo. Apparently no files were opened for this luggage. We still don't have our bags. </p> <p>In amongst all this extremely rude staff putting the phone down on us and no one helpful in having any idea where the luggage could be we wonder who is at fault here? This is extreme incompetence for an airlines only job to get people and their luggage to their destination. Extremely disappointed with pathetic service and rude staff. </p>
