British Air abuse of "Technical Difficulty"

I had one of the worst experiences with the British Airways this morning. The flight BA6441 was scheduled to depart at 6:05 from OR Tambo and arrive in Cape Town at 8:15. I had a court appearance at 9:00. While we were standing in the line to board the plane we were told that the flight was delayed with no warning what so ever. The explanation given by the staff was that there was a "Technical Difficulty". After extensive discussion with the staff it became self evident that the British Air uses "Technical Difficulty" when the flight is empty in order to consolidate with the next flight and save money and be more profitable. This is a very manipulative was of using safety to make profit at the expense of the passengers. I was put on the next flight and I miss my compulsory court appearance with yet unknown consequences. Thanks British Air, but no thanks. Never again.
