Bad Service and Attitude from British Airways
I travelled your flight from Johannesburg to Harare on the 30th of November. BA 6267. Upon checking in at the airport i requested for Emergency Seat due to leg room and dew to me being a long person. I got confirmation that I'm booked into the middle seat in the Emergency Seats on the aircraft as middle seats only available. Upon Boarding the flight i found myself sitting in Row 11B which is the seat before Emergency Seat only to also note that the seat does not go down but one sits up right as if a broom stick would be shoved up ones back. I requested the crew on board to please move me as I am very uncomfortable. The crew member just laughed and walked off. How rude. I truly did not enjoy the flight as last time flying with BA to Port Elizabeth exactly the same happened to me. I find British Aways very rude and the crew members just don't care about the passengers. Total let down and i will never fly or use your airline again. I will also lay a complain on Hallo Peter regarding this as this is the second time this happened not only sitting in the stupid seat but crew members being very rude and unfriendly.
Thank you for taking the time to inform us about your recent experience.
Our goal is to always provide a consistently reliable and distinctive level of customer service and based on the service you received from our staff, we did not meet this goal.
All staff whom are employed by Comair, are always expected to perform their duties in a friendly and efficient manner at all times. When a lapse such as this occurs, we take up the matter with the manager of the individuals concerned.
Seating on the Comair flight is subject to availability at the time of check-in. Due to the different aircraft type and configurations, the emergency exit seats are allocated in different rows on the different aircraft types. In our check-in system, the row immediately in front and behind the emergency exit is marked and regarded as an exit row. This is due to the accessibility of the emergency exit door from these respective rows. Passengers seated at the emergency need to meet a certain criteria.
We recognise the importance of giving excellent service to our clients. This is why we always appreciate customer feedback, which we use to improve our service to you.
Kind regards,
Thuli
