Bad customer service

On the morning 11 December my parents were to leave from Port Elizabeth International Airport to Cape Town. They flew with British Airways. Their flight was at 08:45. Some of the staff for British Airways, at the check in counters, were unprofessional to say the least. They manner in which the passengers were spoken to was shocking. And I can say that with thw utmost confidence because I witnessed everything that had happened. It is one thing to give passengers instructions in respect of airport rules but it's something completely different to carry the instruction over in a rude manner. I trust that the airline has trained their personnel with regards to customer service but what I saw that morning was far from friendly. It is not my wish to put anyone's job in jeopardy which is why I have chosen to not mention one of the staff member's names. Needless to say it would be appreciated if the staff members on duty on the morning of 11 December could be taken to task and maybe receive training on how to deal with passengers in a friendly and professional manner. There were a group of tourists amongst those passengers and that was the last impression they had of Port Elizabeth. It definitely was not a good start to my parents trip. I thought it fit to take it upon myself to lodge a complaint on those passengers behalf. I would appreciate it if I could be contacted by the airline so that I could be afforded an opportunity to explain exactly what had happened and what was said.

Thank you and regards
