BA emergency paid seat

I recently booked an emergency seat, for a domestic flight from Port elizabeth to Johannesburg on Sunday 14 February. Those seats are now a paid option. After I paid the seat with my credit card, got on the plane that day, only to find my seat was NOT an emergency type row. Paid for nothing. However I am awaiting a refund. Let’s see if I get it:
