If I could give them less than 1 star, I would. As a surprise for my wife I thought I'd add my 8 month old grandchild to my daughter's ticket when she comes to visit us next month. I understand that the price is 15% of the normal fare. So I called the "help" line. I waited 35 minutes until it was answered. After a further 30 minutes, I finally got to make the change. Because the emails they said they were sending me didn't arrive, I did the payment over the phone. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that apart from the 15% and the airport tax (fair enough), there was a "surcharge" of nearly R 800, bringing the cost to about the same as a full adult ticket So I wrote them an email, complaining. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised when I got an automated reply saying that I might get an answer in 3 weeks. Personally, I don't think the airline will last that long :(
