BA Comair *******
Really need to put this out there. We are Pensioners who had to save for six month's to book a ticket for our Grandson to fly to us in Port Elizabeth return Cape Town for his June School Holidays. We booked through British Airways and got the conformation reference no VC6MMM on the 20th of may and all was sorted. Then afterwards we heard that they grounded there flights so we phoned British Airways to find out what we are to do only to be aske when his flight was booked and told them that it was for the25th of June and we were told not to worry as they getting money from Britain. a week later we got a email to say that all flights are cancelled and we should request a Voucher. We phoned them back and said that we wanted a refund as we now have to book on another Airline and was told to email *** and we got a automated email to say that they are in aware of our email. We never heard from them again. Now we had to borrow money that we cannot afford to arrange another airline which cost a lot more now as we could now not book on Cheap Flights. British Airways did us in for R1810.92. The new flight cost us R3440.00 which we now had to borrow which we think that this is right. So it arears that took our money knowing that they were going to be grounded. Very unfair.
