BA - Comair refund

Good Morning, I booked a flights from Durban to PE for the Easter weekend. The flights have been cancelled. I battled to get hold of the call center, I was then helped by a a service agent, I have been told to wait 6-8weeks for my refund. I have been given no feedback, no reference number, from the refunds department. When I ask for a contact at refunds, I get told they may not give out that information. We really wanted to rebook our holiday for Easter. But my money seems to have vanished in to thin air, all I have it a promise that someone will call me at some point to give me a refund. Honestly I feel like I have been ******.
