5 hour delay

I get that there are not many flights to PE however what I do not get is the freaked delays, delays of 5 hours...which is freaking ridiculous, sitting on a airport for 5hours, nothing served to affected passengers or alternative flights arranged, this has messed up all my connecting flights as I had a scheduled flight from CT to Lanseria however I had to attend an emergency of my Ill grandmother in Port Elizabeth which caused a delay in me seeing her and not being able to make my flight back to Lanseria as there were no flights out of PE the evning , when we as passengers miss our flight we pay when British airways causes delays no one says Jack ** no apology... Now I am face with having to book a whole new flight from PE to Jhb which is costing me plus alternative arrangements needs to be made to get my car at Lanseria airport if my flight arrived in time I would be on a afternoon flight back to CT to get my flight now I am only arriving in PE the afternoon. British airline is no low cost airline your flights are expensive to mess passengers around
