Wedding Gown with a Needle and Thread

Good morning

Hope you're well, I bought my wedding gown at your store for my wedding which was on the 23 March 2019. I was told that the dress will be ready on the 17th March 2019 which was on Sunday, on my way to Century City on that Sunday morning I received a call from bride & Co that my dress is not ready it needs to still go to dry clean due to load shedding you're experiencing backlog. I was not impressed at all because I have paid R6000 deposit for the dress last year and I confirmed the wedding date and we all knew about the load shedding.

On the 19th March, Tuesday at 15:30 I went to Bride & Co and found my dress too big on my waist and under arms, the worse part the dress was wet. I asked where's the seamstress at the ladies on duty said he's off-duty, I asked them how does it happen for me to pay close to R1000 for only alterations and still find my dress not fitting me after three fittings plus find the dress wet.

I came back again on Wednesday, 20th March at 12:30 to pick up my dress and still there were other alterations to be done on the dress so I had to wait for more than an hour while I travelled all the way from Stellenbosch. The seamstress was on duty and I managed to get my dress.

On the 23rd March on my wedding day I worn the dress and I kept on saying to my husband there's something *****ing me on this dress. When we went to take photos after more than 5 hours, I told the photographer to lift up the dress and look around. I was in serious pains, when the photographer looked she found a needle with a thread. This was all because of last moment alterations that were done to my dress.

I need a compensation for all that I went through, can you imagine being *****ed by a big needle for more than 5 hours at your wedding day after paying more that R10 000 for the dress. That is not fair, pity I haven't been around because I was planning to bring the dress the day after the wedding. The photographer took a photo of this needle with her photo since we were at the vines taking pictures I didn't have my photo with me.
