Shocking quality&service

I received the absolute worst service from Bride&Co Canal Walk as well as Bride&Co head office. I purchased my wedding dress there and it was NOT cheap. I had to pay an additional R550 for minor alterations to be made, one being making the straps tighter. When the alterations were done they said I can collect my dress it’s passed the quality check and they’ve steamed it. Naturally I was excited only to see when I got home with the dress 3 out of the four strap connections were thinning out and loosening, I hadn’t even worn the dress yet! I take it back to Bride&Co only for one of the ladies that work there tell me that she cannot believe the straps passed the quality check. She took it to the seamstress and apparently the seamstress fixed the straps. To the naked eye it looked better than it had when I brought it in but still thinning and looking like the minute I wear it and the weight of the dress pulls down on it they won’t survive. I even packed white thread and a needle with Incase something like that happened. And IT DID! It was so embarrassing to have my strap break at my wedding and have to leave the venue to go back to the bridal suite to stitch it up and then only return to the wedding. After explaining this to Bride&Co they very dismissively told me that they take no responsibility for the straps snapping off and they won’t offer any kind of compensation whatsoever. I’m so disappointed at this client service. They really don’t care about their brides. If a certain fabric is know to not hold stitching as well as others why design a dress like that with straps? The hand stitch job my brides**** did for me after it snapped off was done better than Bride&Co’s seamstresses. But the saddest part for me was the way they dismissed and shrugged my story off. This isn’t a high school reunion, it’s my wedding day, the most important day and they couldn’t have cared less.
