Ruined our wedding

Saturday 31/01/2015 we purchased a wedding dress. Menke promised us that the lady who does bead work and alterations works until 7pm at the branch on thursdays. Found out today, 05/02/2015, that the lady works until 5:30pm. We made plans to meet her, but we never did. We even told Menke to start with the alterations from the Saturday, but she would prefer if we met with the other lady. Every time it's different story, and only today we found out that the lady takes the wedding dress home to do alterations! Who takes a persons wedding dress on public transport! The dress shouldn't leave the store! What if there are damages? Who's going to pay? Must we pay more out of our own pocket? The whole experience has been a big disappointment. Why lie to your customers just to get a sale? Our wedding is a week away, how are we going to sort out the dress in a week?? \A promise made
