Rude & Unprofessional Staff

I had a really unpleasant experience at Bride & Co, Canal Walk.

When we arrived, my mother and I needed to use the bathroom but there was no toilet paper. We went to reception and were simply told “no we don’t have”. I asked if they could please check the other bathrooms for toilet paper. The receptionist reluctantly walked to the men’s bathroom to check for us. When I asked if they’d restock since it was a busy day with the 75% off sale, she looked at me and simply said “no”.

I informed the manager that I found his staff to be rude and quite unprofessional. He apologized and then went to resolve the matter so at least other clients had what the needed.

When I went up for my consult, I found the consultant unhelpful. I shared with her my size and preferences and asked for suggestions to screen through quite an overwhelming number of dresses. She simply said there is a lot of options I need to work my way through it myself and call her when I’ve chosen my 4-5 dresses.

I fit on a few stunning dresses, but needed time to consult my stylist before being able to make a decision. The consultant then started questioning me saying “Are you always this indecisive? Do you always need someone to help you make decisions?”. I found that quite rude and unprofessional.

In the end I decided to walk away from a very beautiful dress as I did not want to support a business with such unkind staff and who made a special experience quite unpleasant.

I’m happy to say I found a gorgeous dress at a boutique and the service was excellent.

Bride & Co had a stunning collection of dresses, but as far as CW branch goes, they have a very far way to go where customer service is concerned.

I would not recommend going there.
