Poor Service in every area - very disappointing

Bride & Co. Rivonia. The most *********** staff I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with! Before you put your money on the table everyone makes you believe they care about customer service, but once you’ve paid they show their true colours! Empty promises! Delayed service. Shocking attitudes even by management (Nellie and the General Manager). They kept my dress for a month without making any alterations as promised, then called me to do my first fitting (post-alterations) and they had only altered half of the one side of my dress hem - didn’t take the straps in - didn’t sew in breast cups - nothing. I left my dress there again on Sunday last week having wasted my time waiting for someone to find my dress for 30 minutes then left sitting in my dress for another 15 minutes because hey, who needs to pay attention to a customer once they’ve paid right?! They did measurements / pinned the dress again to do the alterations that weren’t done previously then said they’d call me this Wednesday morning to let me when it would be ready. Wednesday afternoon I had to call them to follow up because as per every other interaction with them to date they make promises and never deliver as well as promise to call and never do. Apparently my dress was ready and they had failed to let me know (funny how they took a month to do nothing but now took 1 working day to alter the whole dress). I went in on Wednesday afternoon and the dress looks ok - quite frankly I feel so let down I don’t care and wish I’d gone elsewhere to find a dress. Precious informed me it would go for dry cleaning etc. and would be ready for collection on Thursday (yesterday) - I had other business commitments so agreed to collect today. But today...Precious called to find out if I’m coming for my fitting today and informed me that after my fitting the dress will be sent for dry cleaning???????? I have already completed this step and am due to collect my dry-cleaned dress at 2pm!!! Why hasn’t this been done yet??? Am I going to get there to find a dress that has been dry-cleaned off-site in 2 hours??? Is it going to be ready??? Will the job be done correctly???

I will do a separate review on the disgusting service my mother, brides**** and **** of honour also experienced in the last month. I will NEVER recommend Bride & Co.
