FED UP BRIDE!!!

I went to Bride and Co in August and was assisted by Emily. I was advised that I can have alterations done. I was than attended to by Twarelo who assisted me and made all sorts of promises with Emily ego'ing right beside her. I was told to come back on the 5th October for the final fitting.

I arrived on the 5th anticipating the dress of my dreams. To my shock I was advised that Twarelo no longer works there and Emily has no idea what needs to be done on the dress. At no point from when Tswarelo left did anyone think to pick up the phone and contact me.

I than did another fitting with Lebo, with Nelly present. Lebo who was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful to say the least. She took measurements and I was once again promised that everything will be in order. Than on the 8th I went in again for what was supposed to be the final fitting again this time. Only to find that the sleeves were full sleeves and not capp sleeves. And furthermore they were ridiculously big. Nelly and Lebo than measured AGAIN (for the 3rd time) this time I was told that Lebo would stitch the dress while i wait in the store. To my disbelief, the sleeves were still big and not aligned. At this point Lebi said shes tired and someone else should assist. Measurements were taken AGAIN for the fouth time, I don't know how quickly my shoulders grow but anyway I was advised that Themba would fix it and i should come on the 11th October. My appointment was at 15:00 and i left at 18:20. We advised Nelly that should the dress not be properly done on the 11th that we expect a full refund for the dress, material purchased for alterations which cost R2500 and the cost of alterations.

I arrived at Bride&co on the 11th October. I was than told that Emily had left for the day. The same Emily that knew I had an appointment and the same Emily that received a big fat commission from the sale she made with me. I than askes for Nelly, and again Nelly no longer works here! I was advised to fit on the dress, which i did. And only to be so disappointed to a point whereby i had a melt down_ only difference is this time the sleeves were too small, they barely made it from the front to the back of my shoulder.

I told Mini I want my money back. We asked to speak to the regional manager. And was advised that she is not in and will be in on Saturday. Called this morning which is Saturday, the regional manager will only be in Monday.

I used to believe that a customer pays for the type of service they want. And this being an exceptionally important day in my life I thought i was coming to the best place money can buy.

Bride&co is a lousy excuse for a bridal company. They are *********** and do not respect people time or money.
