Bride&co Fairytale Nightmare

I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the service and quality of workmanship I encountered during my recent experience with Bride&Co (Parkview) In July/August I purchased a dress for my daughter’s matric farewell. Unfortunately, the service we received was far from satisfactory. We were informed that a smaller size would be ordered from Cape Town, and promised that we would be contacted once it arrived. However, after a week’s of leaving messages, I was only able to speak with a staff member who informed me that they were very busy and would get in touch soon. When we finally had a fitting, the dress was still not properly adjusted. Despite several attempts to reach out for updates and appointments, I faced continued issues with communication, including being told that staff were either on lunch or unavailable. When we did manage to arrange another fitting (7 September 2024), the alterations were poorly executed, with noticeable asymmetry and uneven cutting. The seamstress was unprofessional and unfriendly, and I was unable to meet with a manager to discuss these concerns properly. The lack of professionalism and poor craftsmanship was unacceptable, especially given the significant amount spent on the dress and its alterations. This entire experience has not only been frustrating but has also diminished what should have been a joyous occasion. I am deeply disappointed by the way my concerns were handled and the quality of service provided.
