Bride and Co is a NO-NO!

ATTENTION: All brides and future brides to be ? DO NOT GO TO BRIDE AND CO.

When thinking of my wedding day and all the excitement the day holds, finding a wedding dress was one of the things I looked forward to the most! Unfortunately Bride and Co has made this exciting part an anxious and extremely disappointing experience. My bridal consultant was the best part. She was kind, helpful, encouraging and caring. Everything post-sale has been TERRIBLE.

They don't mention that after paying thousands for your dress, you are going to have to pay them to properly mess up your dress with so called alterations. Not only was I double charged for things the seamster couldn't do properly (all of a sudden my one shoulder was +/- 4cm higher than the other) but it also looked like a 3 year old was responsible for the cutting of the dress. I wish I rather consulted with my 6 year old nephew as I'm sure he would've done a better job than the so called professional.

On the day I went to fetch my wedding dress (after having a terrible fitting the week before), the hem was still poorly cut and the layers were all different lengths and skew. This resulted in a more experienced seamstress having to take over and shorten my dress even more. I am absolutely horrified at the fact that they thought my dress was ready to be collected.

After doing some research I have realised that this isn't the first time something like this has happened. I truly wish someone could've warned me, so here is your warning. Do your research properly before making this decision. You want it to be an exciting and joyful experience.
