Avoid Bride&Co Rivonia for Alterations

My experience at Bride & Co Rivonia has been extremely disappointing to say the least. I would strongly recommend that if you require any alterations to be done that you have those done elsewhere. If you are just purchasing a dress off the shelf and it fits you 100% then consider yourself lucky to be able to avoid all the innumerable trips to have the alterations done satisfactorily let alone to a high level. The level of service is extremely poor and quality control is non-existent. I assumed (wrongly) that fitting sleeves to an evening dress (Mother of the Bride) would be an easy task - not so!!! After several trips, I eventually took the dress home even though it needed to be drycleaned. I just couldn't go back one more time!!! The dress and sleeves are fine now, but not once did a manager contact me, offer me any type of reimbur*****t for all my petrol, time and anxiety. Langa, the supervisor, said she would be in touch the day after I took the dress, but that was four days ago and still nothing!!! One could carry on, but what is the point. I think I have vented enough.
