Delivery process that doesn’t have customer in mind

Small delivery company, my post is in hope the service can improve even though they’re not Hello Peter…I just need to express this as I now have a problem I could have easily avoided. Delivery notifications for client to know that you plan to delivery really go a long way. Driver just rocked up, I was at work so had no opportunity to have made a plan. Delivery guy advises that he can’t find the block and has time pressure and asked to leave at security. I’m an understanding person so what can I do? I’m a woman, I have back problems and how I’m expected to carry 56 juices and walk long distance is besides me. Really disappointed in the service. I hope they improve their process.
