Brand-inability

I ordered branded mints. I had given them a 2 and a half week deadline, I asked countless times if they could meet the deadline, and they said yes. They did not. I got a generic email to say "I will make sure you get your delivery on time" - this was 2 days after the conference that the mints were intended for. I refused to pay for the remainder of the invoice (because the entire purpose of the mints was over) and they handed the debt over to a debt recovery company. The quality of the product was embarrassingly poor. This includes the packaging and the actual mints (I was told “it’s just your normal mints”, no it was not. This was another reason I refused to pay – the mints were utterly useless). I had specifically asked for a sample and never got one, this was around deadline issues, but again – I had asked if they could meet the deadline and they said yes. I will not use them again.
