Poor Customer Service at Boxer Senaoane Store

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received at Boxer Senaoane and even more so with the lack of response after lodging a formal complaint. I visited the Senaoane store with my two sons and experienced a situation at the till where I simply needed basic assistance from the cashier regarding the SpeedPoint machine. Instead of assisting me or explaining how I should proceed, the cashier responded with a dismissive and unfriendly attitude. A simple explanation or “You can use the machine now, ma’am” would have resolved the situation. What concerns me most is that I took the matter further and wrote to the store’s complaints department on Sunday, 16 August 2026, clearly explaining my experience and my concerns about the standard of customer service. I have received no response whatsoever. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of whether they are shopping in a township or suburban area. Being in a township does not mean we should receive a lower standard of service. I am writing this review because I believe that if a customer takes the time to formally raise a complaint, the least the company can do is acknowledge it and respond. Silence does not resolve the problem.
