I would like to raise a serious concern about the poor service I received at Boxer Store in KwaThema on Thursday, 28 August 2025. I was served by a cashier named Tuki, who was clearly under the influence of alcohol while on duty. She had already short-changed the customer before me, who had requested R600 but was only given R500. When it was my turn, I paid R1400 in R200 notes (7 notes), but she falsely claimed I had only given R1300, insisting it matched the cost of my groceries. My partner and I were forced to take back our missing R100 from the till ourselves. What angered me most was that the manager offered no apology, only saying they would “check the cameras.” To make matters worse, the female security guard defended the cashier instead of addressing the issue fairly. This reflects a serious lack of accountability, professionalism, and respect for customers, and such treatment should not be tolerated.
