On the 26th I went grocery shopping at Boxer supermarket in Johannesburg cnr Kruis & Jeppe. There was a special that stipulated that if you purchase items that amount to R500 or more you'll get a R100 voucher which you can spend between 23rd and 29th of November. So I bought groceries that cost R612 and when I asked for my R100 voucher I was told that the deal applies only when you spend more than R700 and I was ask where I got the info from and I went back in the store aisle and brought back the flyer that had the info but still they refuse to give me the voucher the manager was called & also refused to issue the voucher. My concern is why they advertised something which they're not offering? That is bad service, unfair and misleading.
We are very sorry about any misleading information in the store - they are correct that our current promo is spend R750 and get R100 to spend between 7th & 27th December, however, our previous promotion which ended 22nd November was to spend R500 & get R100 to use between 23rd & 29th November. It sounds like they may have still had old promotion up in the store, so sadly it wouldn't go through as the campaigns were changed from Head Office to the stores. Agreed they should have assisted you there and then and we can only apologise for the inconvenience. We are going to escalate to senior management to investigate.
