Complaint

I was at boxer superstore Monday this week to do Groceries. I had only R1100 on my wallet which was the total of my Groceries and that left me with no taxi fair fortunately i saw an ad or promotion that if spend R300 or more you will get R20 for sho! For me that meant i would get a R60 but the lady at the till told me only on selected items. Now my argument is that why are we being **** to or misled. Because all the goods i had on my trolley i did not want to return them i needed them. Instead when i complained to their email a Gentlemen from the store called me and said "I just want to say we received your complaint I am sorry". I asked him can you imagine the trauma i was in waiting for someone all the way from Delft to bring me taxi fair simply bcz Boxer decided otherwise. He just said sorry... I am extremely disappointed by BOXER!!!

Hi Mfundo,
We are in receipt of your complaint and we are terribly sorry for the inconvenience caused by this matter. For the past 2 years we have been running campaigns that give a customer 'cash back' in the form of an eCoupon (printed voucher) which can then be used towards their groceries the next time they shop at the store. We do believe the store could have handled this differently and perhaps assisted with your transport back home and for this we do apologise on their behalf.
Just to clear up any further confusion, the campaign running is for every R300 spent on products that are advertised on the current leaflet, you get a R20 eCoupon back. If you spend R600, you could get R40 etc. But unfortunately this is not as a cash value.
We value your support and thank you for being a Boxer shopper and hope that you will continue to shop with us.
Kind Regards
Jade Skinner
