Cashier prohibiting me to use my card

I was at boxer superstore Baragwanath and I wanted to pay Avon using my card the cashier told me she can't make that transaction because I am not using cash. She gave me a lame invalid reason which I failed to understand, so apparently boxer is basically stating that we must carry cash everywhere we go? I'm not pleased with today's incident. May the owners of the brand please rectify this😡
