Boxer Twin City Bloemfontein Closing EARLIER

I went to BOXER STORE TWIN CITY MALL BLOEMFONTEIN on Saturday 14 January 2023 19:18. I was at the store earlier the same day and asked the Boxer security gaurd what time they close he infected me at 19:30 on Saturdays.

Reason why I asked is because I run a business and I buy my bread for business daily from them. I returned to the store and send my kids in about 19:14 but my kids returned to where I was in mall and told me that the strore's door is already closed and there are only people exiting but still alot of customers inside.

I left with what im busy with and went to boxer twin city mall myself, I arrived at the store at 19:18 to find the big roller door closed and only the small side door open, I wanted to enter but the security refused. I explained to security that I did ask earlier what time they closed and was advised by his colleague standing with him that they are closing at 19:30 but he still refused to allow me to enter. I even told him is just few things I'm getting will not be long at all and there's still lot of customers instore, but he still refused. I asked him how isit that I know they closing at 19:30 and also his colleague informed me 19:30 but now he gives me a different story. He said that his manager gave authority for them to close early and that he is well aware that they were supposed to close at 19:30 but the manager gave order to close earlier.

At this point I ask him to check the time on his watch, time was 19:21 on his watch.

I asked him for the managers name so that I can report him/her but he told me to wait till the manager come, O explained to him that im in a hurry because O have business to attend to but him and his colleague refused to give me a name. (At this point we already at 19:30).

One of his colleagues stood closer to hear what's happening, he explain the story in Sotho but left out the part that I'm there since 19:18, the lady security that was with him tried to create the impression that I only arrived there at that moment. I told him that I was there since 19:18 and he can confirm with the security gaurds that refused acces if im speaking the truth. They confirmed that I was there before 19:20 and that he checked his watch a bit later and it was 19:21 after few minutes of me being there.

Now they wanted me to enter after standing there 15minutes. I told them as said earlier im not interested i want the name of the manager in order to report them in order for this not to happen again. Still they did not want to give me a name.....Eventually their supervisor of the security koos came to get my complaint but treated me casually.

I left there 19:42. I complain because this happens continually and im a regular customer who spends more than R2000 per week at boxer for bread and stock for my business and household.

I went to boxer 16 January and again they closed earlier but I was in the store when they closed earlier.

Problem is this Boxer make millions out of Heidedal (Our community) per month but if this was a white community like in town they would've closed on time....their times are never certain, always close 15 min sometimes 30min before the time.....I am a daily customer at boxer the past 3 years and am highly disappointed. I raised my complain to various managers over the past years about consistency but it falls on deaf ears. But the incident that took place on tghe past Saturday made me loose my patience with them.

On top of everything they joke about the incident the past few days when they saw me....but I felt that this must be out in the open so that people can see the double standards of Boxer Store Twin City......in Town they close in time because they respect their clients but because heidedal is a black and coloured community they feel no need to respect us their customers.

Please put up times infront of the store in order to hold them accountable, Like shoprite and all the other store.

The only time boxer twin city puts up time is on extended hours December for their benefit but the rest of the year its a guessing game. And also the only time they don't close earlier is on SASSA and PAY DATES.
