BOXER SENAOANE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I recently visited Boxer Superstores, Mabalane street, Senaoane,Soweto. Upon getting there, we stood in a queue OUTSIDE the shop while the security guard at the door ranted on how he would shut the doors if people continued to complain about him not letting them in. He was rude in his address. Then approached by a customer with a baby (infant) she asked if she could just use the express ATM to withdraw some money so that she can get home since it was about to rain, the man rudely dismissed her and told her to go to the queue. She did. When he finally let us in, the lady in panic came rushing and pleaded to enter, chaos ensued as others also wanted to be let in by force. I observed others entering without being sanitized, and there were no shopping baskets, carts or trolleys at the door as it was packed inside with scores of shoppers. My sis and I went in and we picked and carried by hand what we came to buy. We went to stand on the queue which was not only long but moved slow. We had 2 x2l bottles of amasi and we gently placed them on an empty shelf as we waited in the queue. Then came one guy, didn't catch his name, he wanted to take them away as he thought maybe a previous customer had left them there, we explained that the bottles belonged to us and we were going to pay for them.

He rudely said, "remove them from the shelf, and place them in the basket!" I calmly told him that, if we had a basket we would but when we entered there were no baskets, (we were not the only ones i in the queue without baskets) he said we were lying! He was rude trying to force us to remove them. Eventually we wouldn't budge and he left. Luckily one guy who had been packing shelves nearby had witnessed the incident and went to find a basket for us. We were grateful for the help but the rudeness of the other guy was uncalled for.

Secondly, I bought groceries worth over R750. 00 at the same Boxer store October first, and received R60 Boxercom airtime which required that I buy the Boxer sim. I gladly did. Then came time to RICA it, I found an assistant at the TYME Bank machine, sje tried 3 times to register the SIM for me but failed. She then told me to come another day. I came back a few times and the machine was still not working, came back days later to be told that I now needed to bring my ID with as opposed to just knowing it by head as was initially. I calmly left. Came the next day with ID, went to the kiosk since there was no assistant at the TYME Bank machine, the lady at the kiosk rudely dismissed me to the machine tried to explain there was no one there to ssdeshe said for me to work the machine myself. I got to the machine and found it not even plugged. To this day, I have a useless unregistered SIM and R60 airtime I can't use, thanks to Boxer Senaoane.
