Bad customer experience at Boxer Protea Gardens mall
On 2024.04.14, I went to Boxer Superstores Protea Gardens mall to do grocery shopping together with my siblings. We bought all the necessities as per our grocery list n I was going to pay using voucher Wi Code of R2000 bought using my Capitec app ***. We got the tills pushing 2 trolleys and we were assisted by a friendly cashier by the name of Nurse Sithebe and when I showed her the Wi code she did say that she has never cashed it up before but she asked somebody else for assistance by the name of Mulalo(lady). Mulalo instead of referring to someone who has an idea about the code, she said the voucher it's a **** the store no longer accepts the vouchers as payment option. I asked if there was a **** about the vouchers why the store never discontinued the product from being sold on the banking apps. She said it was sent on a WhatsApp group that all Boxer Superstores mustn't accept Boxer vouchers bought on the banking apps. Then she went around the store recruiting other staff members n they kept pointing at us as if were ****mers even the security guards. The only people who were nice to us were the store manager forgot to get her name and the cashier Nurse Sithebe. The store manager asked Mulalo to show her the message n Mulalo went to get another staff member who showed the message to the store manager n the manager after reading the message she then told Mulalo that she misinterpreted the message bcoz there's nowhere in the message where it states that the vouchers mustn't be accepted. She then asked the cashier to process the transaction. To show fairness I left my personal details in case there's an issue when the cashier balances as Mulalo kept on saying if there was R2000 shortfall it'll be taken from the cashier's salary. I was humiliated in front of other customers bcoz Mulalo kept on saying there were****mers who used the same payment option n another staff member lost her job.
