Please reconsider the textbook situation.

I love the idea of distance learning because it allows me to continue to work full-time.

However, this semester has been the worst semester I've had to deal with. The main cause of this is the whole textbook situation. I understand all the features (read aloud, download for offline, it's available on a laptop and cellphone), however, it is not the vibes at all. Some people like myself work better with a hard copy. I love that I'm sometimes able to pick up one of my previous semester textbooks and pull information from it when needed. I work 10 hours a day, in front of a computer the whole shift, and the last thing I want to do is go onto another screen to study. With that being said, it has already demotivated me from actually studying, and it's reflected in my marks this semester. I've had multiple distinctions in the past 2 years, and this semester is the first time I have a module that I may need to redo completely.

This semester would've been one of the most important for me because this semester's transcript would've allowed me to apply for an internship through my company.

I wish you Boston City Campus could please reconsider the way the textbook situation is being handled. A suggestion would be to allow students to choose whether they want online books or hard copies, and if needed, the students who want hard copies can pay a bit more than the online textbook user. But I think that would be a good compromise because this is affecting more than just me and can be seen by previous reviews on this platform as well.

I'm urging the organisation to please reconsider the textbook situation.
