Don't study through Boston
I would like to tell everyone that is looking to study through Boston not to do it. These people are con stars and will make sure they make your life a living hell. This semester has taken the CUP with the amount of nonsense they put us through during the exams to make sure we dont submit on time. You need to submit on 2 platforms and with the amount of writing and the slowness of their app, you end up submitting on one and they dont care what happens. DO NOT STUDY THROUGH boston. They are bullies who want their students to fail, i cant wait to complete this hell that they have put me through!

You guys are the pits, if i had a choice i would undo this year and deregister and get my refund for both semester. You guys are a pyramid scheme. Wanting us to submit on two different platforms, the same thing and if you were unable to submit on the other because of time you dont want to mark the one i submitted although its the same paper? Mind you we are made to hand write the exam and submit a PDF format on our laptops and the other system. WOW Boston, you should be ashamed of yourselves. We work for our money and dont just study to waste money.

08 Dec 2022, 08:43Dear Zoe, The two platforms you refer to serve different purposes: one being our Learner Management System (LMS) and the other being a third-party invigilation application. Students are provided ample additional time to allow for having to upload to both platforms. We have inter alia hosted live and recorded training sessions dealing with the process. All Boston students also have the opportunity to participate in all Invigilated Assessment Events in-person, at one of our 47 Support Centers. As stated in our previous communication, we have specific rules and procedures in place in order to support the validity of our examinations and the award of qualifications. The recent changes made to our rules have been clearly communicated to the whole student body and we have been transparent regarding the reasons for these changes. I have, however, requested that someone from the Assessment Review Committee contact you personally, to assist you with understanding our exam rules. I confirm that your matter is being handled internally and that the outcome thereof will be communicated to you in due course. Kind regards, Dr. Hendrik Botha Head of Institution
