Terrible diagnosis

On the 24th of April, I took my car for an inspection to Bosch service in Sherwood. Upon inspection they told me that my engine was broke and would need to be stripped and pistons sent to engineering as one of the pistons was broken. They estimated this would cost about R25, 000. Luckily my father a mechanic advised me to ask the guys to redo the pressure test as he was concerned that this seemed a bit high, upon Bosch re-doing the pressure test they actually found that there is nothing wrong with my engine and that only the plugs needed to be replaced. I am so blessed to have a dad that used to be a mechanic because if I did not ask for my dad’s advice if would have paid for nothing. The plugs cost me R430 to replace and saved me so much because I was so shocked that my car was fine in the morning but now needed a new engine. Guys, please be on the lookout because if you are not aware such companies will deplete your money for nothing.
