****** car at Bosch premises whilst it was there for repairs

We ( me and my husband) got a call from Jivan on the 27th of November 2017 informing us that our car was ****** on friday (25 November 2017) together with 3 other cars. My husband visited their offices the next week to speak to Jivan but he was not available. We have tried several attempts to contact him but he is forever not available and the receptionist always says he will get back to us but never does. Today I called him and luckily was able to get in contact with him and he had no sympathy of the matter instead saying 2 cars were ******. I'm even questioning if this story is in fact true because initially we were told 4 cars were ****** now its only 2. The frustrating part is everytime I call I have to explain myself from scratch and nothing is done afterwards.

THESE ARE THE DETAILS OF THE WHOLE INCIDENT We bought the car(BMW 330i) in July 2017 at Hyundai Boksburg and after 4 days of driving the car it started giving us problems. we called the dealer and they arranged for the car to be checked on. It then went to Bosch for fixing and all cost carried by Hyundai while they gave us courtesy car to use while BMW is being fixed by Bosch. We were then called to collect the car after being promised that it has being fixed. We drove it for plus minus two weeks it then gave us the same problem again. We decided to take it for diagnostic test and we handed the report to Hyundai and Bosch. That money was never recovered. They took the car back to Bosch again and came back with the very same problem and it was taken to Bosch for the third time.

After coming back it never had the problem of starter again until after two weeks of driving it again it started to shake. Then my husband decided to take it back for checking. On his way to Hyundai the engine pipe busted and the car had to be towed by our insurance to Hyundai premises and it was taken to Bosch by Hyundai where it spent almost a month with them. it then came back and the shaking was still there and we were told that there is a part needed for the shaking to stop and that part has been ordered. Once the order arrives we will be called to bring in the car.we took the car still in the shaking condition and we got the call on the 20th of Nov to bring in the car since the part has arrived. the car was then taken to Bosch on the 21st Nov 2017 and Hyundai provided us with courtesy car again.

On the 27th November 2017 in the morning around 8h00am, we got a call from Bosch telling us that four cars have been ****** at the premises and later on we were told to lodge a claim with our insurance. First i called the insurance and explained the whole matter to them and they said Bosch must pay for the loss not them as it would affect our claim history. Then Bosch sent an email to me saying we need to lodge a claim as the cannot deal directly with us but needs to deal with the insurance . On that note i then notified our insurance and they did register the claim, with the understanding that they will do the payout to our insurance or settle the matter with our insurance.

To my surprise when i called the insurance last week after not hearing from them about the progress of the claim, i learnt that they never communicated with Bosch nor Bosch communicated with them. all they said to me was the registered the claim and did all that was required of them for their client as per protocol.I then spoke to legal department of our policy and the say they only do recovery if there is a third party involved so in this case there is none. I then expressed my concern with them that i am now a looser in this case for the following reasons:-

1.The car was ****** at Bosch workshop and arrangement for it to be at Bosch was done by the dealer Hyundai, 2. I paid 30000 deposit when buying the car, 3. The access was taken from my insured money, 4. Bosch is a big Company and i am failing to understand why are they not able to claim on their insurance since the cars are their core Business, 5. Now Bosch is off the hook since my insurance paid the claim and finally 6. We don't have a car and my husband works 3 shifts and i also work night duty and both our jobs requires us to have cars and we are now sharing one car.

On the 11th of January I called Bosch asking to speak to Jivan and was told he is not around but he will call as soon as he arrives. I then called his cell after an hour and a half and he told me he was rushing to a meeting but then changed to say i can brief him a little what the call is about. I then stated my concerns before even finishing what i was saying he then said " ooh ok will forward that to my insurance but will definitely come back to you after the meeting" Till now he has not called.
