Gave Auto Expedi8 / Bosch Car Service Alberton another chance after many years of not using them. I regret for doing so. They are the biggest bunch of ********. Years ago, I took a vehicle into their initial Gateway branch, for a major service with cam belt replacement. I paid for the full service. Months later, I found out that they never replaced the cam belt, but I paid for it. This time around, again took my car in for a major service, and their fault finding list as follows: thermostat leaking water, will cost about R 6,000 to replace repair; cam belt needs replacement, will be another R 6,000. Took it today to another mech for a second opinion. 1. Thermostat not leaking, but small leak on water pump. Total quotation for cam belt replacement and water pump, just under R 3,000. I will never recommend Auto Excpedi8 again in my lifetime.
