i sent my Isuzu diesel injector pump for servicing...was told tht it needed a major overhaul at a cost of R28 000.00<br> after some negotiations settled on R22 000.00<br> <br> After about 100km the bakkie cut off and refused to start, sent the bakkie back to POWERTRANS technician removed the pump and refitted, the bakkie started, they still claimed nothing was wrong with the PUMP.<br> <br> drove the bakkie for about 200km and it cut off again, sent it back to POWERTRANS,<br> they removed the pump and refitted then it started, again say tht nothing wrong with the pump.<br> <br> i asked the technician to use the bakkie home, on the way the bakkie cut off.<br> <br> So now they remove the pump and strip it and find the pump full of rust (lol)<br> <br> say that contaminated from the tank.<br> <br> clean and refit and charge me R10 000.00 <br> <br> and now the technician is convinced that the problem is sorted, but never asked me to clean my ful tank.<br> <br> and now they drive the bakkie for about 300kms and its fine...with the same fuel...<br> after negotiating the price down to R7500.00 took my bakkie away<br> <br> we removed the fuel tank and found aprox 5ml of water <br> so where did all the contamination come from????<br> <br> they found a fault with their reapair and i paid
