Not owning up to damaging customers radiator

Took my car for a cambelt sevice. Got my car back almost a week later with a broken radiator.

I initially wanted a service done with cambelt. They then phoned me to ask to do the water pump, though there was nothing wrong with it. I agreed as it was almost time to change. They phone me back again to tell me my radiator was leaking, this was strange as i never saw any leak nor did i ever have to top up coolant.

They tried to convince me to replace with a new one but I then asked them to temporarily repair it which i paid for. The day i received my car back i had the technician point out to me where it is leaking. When he showed me the area he repaired i was pretty sure that pipe never leaked. Anyway to avoid back and forth I just left as i knew if someone in the workshop broke it they just wouldn't own up to it as this usually happens in workshops.

I ended up replacing my radiator somewhere else 3 weeks later as it was leaking heavy and loosing coolant , something it never did before i took it there.

The owner responded with the same story that the work shop foreman told me that the leak evapoarted. I never had to top up my fluid it remained full before i took it there. Explain that. I have the broken radiotor with the pipe that they broke off. I am happy for them to come and collect it for further investigation. This pipe was broken off. It snapped. They told me that the plastic was brittle.
