Neglegence

Audi A3 sent in for new cam belt and waterpump. After 8 months 8000km the cam belt snapped and caused R17000 damage to the Head{bent valves}. The car was sent to the local Bosch as I was now in Durban and not Joberg. The cause of the belt to snap was a bolt had been dropped into the engine and was stuck on one of the rollers and was slowly wearing down the cam belt. Bosch head office found it to be their fault and ordered them to pay for the repairs. To cut a long story short after 2 months I finally got my repaired car back after so many delays. I had to threaten legal action and It still ended costing me another R6500 just to speed up the process. Not including 2 months of no car.
