Don't trust these people

This review is for Bosch Car Service in Claremont.

My Experience with this company has been nothing but horrific. I took my car in for a service, and with additional fixes they quoted me R43k which was ridiculous (2012 Fiat Punto). So I went ahead with a few and total cost ended up being around R16k. I have never seen a clutch that expensive...before I had only paid about R3500 for clutch including labour.

I got the car back a week later than the time they promised. After it got back, the clutch was making such funny noises (like an old spring) and three days after pick up...the car wouldn't start at all (had to jumpstart it) - an issue that I never had before.

Took the car back and they fixed the clutch and told me the starter issue is not on them. Just came back from another place now, where they tested and guess what...the issue is the BATTERY! A battery I bought 4 years ago and had no issue with until now. So what happened to my battery? Why did they not see the problem and even in conversation with one of their mechanic, they said my battery is fine as they tested. Before the other company even looked at my starter issue, they noticed an oil leak (which they called me and my uncle to come and see). Another thing that happened AFTER the Bosch so called service.

I never ever want to see these people again! Now, I have an oil leak I have to pay for on top of the R1300 I had paid for the battery replacement.
