Dishonest fault report

Bosch Midrand.

Took my car for an oil service. Get a fault list back that amounted to R30,000. On this list were ALL 4 SHOCKS. This was concerning because I had my rear shocks replaced recently. So took it to the company that did my shocks and they said it was just the front shocks that were worn. The rear shocks that were 6 months old were in perfect condition. I took it to another company to test the shocks and they confirmed that the rear shocks were in good condition.

Now realising I can't trust them, I drove my car to my usual mechanic in dbn, and gave him the fault list to go over. 6 of the 10 things on the list were is good working condition.

Extremely disappointed that they would try to make a quick buck. Honest mechanics are extremely rare.
