Bosche car service Gezina gone horrible
On the 8 February 2018, I took my car in for repairs at Bosche Car Service in Gezina, Pretoria. Repairs included (amongst others) fixing a misfiring issue and changing a leaking water pipe.
On the 23 February 2018 I go to Bosche to collect the car and am advised by the consultant (Andre Botha) that it has been fixed and the misfiring in the car is resolved. Payment was required and made, I got into the car to test it and it was still misfiring. The technician advised that I bring the car back on Monday (26/2) so that they could sort out the misfiring problem. On my way home my car starts to overheat, I pull into a garage the attendant opens the water tank and the water pours out due to the heat. More water and coolant is poured into the tank and the car gradually cools down. I realise that there is still a water pump that is leaking and the water tank level drops.
I took the car back to Bosche so that the original problems could be resolved. I call back on the 5/3/2018 to find out what the process on the car is, I am advised by Andre that the technicians are solving the misfiring problem. On the 6/3/2018 I am called by Andre to advise that I can fetch the car as they are done with the repairs.
I get into the car, turn the key and the same problem is there. Except this tim, it seems to have gotten worse. The car is now misfiring accompanied by a loud noise. Upon tuning the engine off, it now refuses to start again. Obviously I am now irritated and frustrated by the back and forth. My question to the technician was whether the car gets tested before I am called to come collect. Was the car even repaired to begin with?
Four weeks later and the problem is persisting. The annoyance is that overtime I am told by Bosche that my car has been repaired, when in fact it is not!
Bosch. I want my car fixed as per the quotation and agreement.
