Bosch thinks its good to take a month to repair a warranty dishwasher

Bosch Service division will take a month or more to repair my dishwasher. It is now festive season. Mid-December, the six month old top-end dishwasher (an insurance replacement, the previous Bosch also gave in) gave an error code and stopped. It seems a controller error problem. I logged a call same day, but heard today that they will only be around in mid-January. A month... lots of family. I strongly advice to rather consider one of the other, probably cheaper brands.
