BOSCH SERVICE PMB - ENGINE PROBLEM! AFTER A SERVICE!
Hi, i booked my car for a service at Bosch Service in PMB, reason being I had once made use of their services before & their customer service was great, they were proffessional but most importantly they had done a great job.
However! Now it's a totally different case all together,
IT'S A TOTAL MESS!!!
On the 27/02/2018, i brought my car in at 07:00am, it wasn't even due for a service yet in terms of kilometres and it had no issues, whatsoever. I called them at around 12:00pm to do a follow up, since there was no feedback from the service dealer, they promised to call me back, of which they did at around 13:00, promising to get started with my car soon, they said they've been busy with a Jeep from the day before, hence there was a delay with my car, but still i was surprised since I was there early morning, and there weren't a long queue of cars before me except for (2) cars that i had noticed.. Anyways, i told them that "listen, please reschedule because I don't want you guys to work under pressure, i don't want you to rush as might lead to mistakes, hence i had brought my car inn early morning, so that you can attend to it early".. but the guy insisted that they will be done in no time. They only called me back at around 16:00 advising me that my vehicle is ready.. I collected my car, however after a +/- 15 minutes drive, i noticed smoke from the engine, it was clearly visible, i popped the hood & it smelled of oil, there were visible stains of oil at the bottom, the smoke came from underneath the engine cover & from the bottom.. I was worried! When I turned on the aircon, it smelled of oil! ..I called them on the morning of the 28/02/2018, i explained my concerns, they said "that had cleaned the engine, the chemicals are burning off, the smoke should fade soon", but the lady at the administration office asked me to return it, so that they can check & confirm.. I brought it inn on the 01/03/2018, I had an argument with a Workshop manager, as i tried to explain of what were my concerns, he assured me that they're going to look into the problem & have it sorted, i showed him that the engine was never cleaned since that was their excuse, i showed him oil spills at the bottom, i showed him the smoke coming from underneath the engine cover & from the bottom, i was irritated hence our voices were raised during our discussion... They called me just after 13:00, to say that it's sorted, they said "they've changed an oil filter and they won't charge me for it", the workshop manager offered me his business card & asked me to inform him if there're any issues. (Indeed the oil spill was cleaned, there was no smoke and the smell had faded off from my aircon & from outside)
...BUT! today, again there was smoke coming out from the bonnet, it smelled of oil! without me even having to open the bonnet i could smell oil! My car has a full service history, it's well taken care of, it was perfect! I had brought it in with no issues only to create issues for myself!...
PLEASE HELP!!! I'm very worried as I'm not sure what's wrong, what's being damaged further as I'm driving, are they capable of fixing the problem or will they cause more damage if I take it back to them, do I need a lawyer or do I need to send it else where for a thorough check up, to see what they did wrong, what do i do ?.. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
